Day 114 - Wednesday 11th October 2017

I was up early today and called Lisa to make sure she was ok..... she said that the night nurses had sorted an isolation room that was being used as a incubator store room out for her and Theo.... They had put a camp bed in there for her and a cot bed for Theo.... 😁 That's so nice of them!! Things are going to be a lot easier now for her looking after Theo. I got out of bed at 7am, woke Jack up and motivated him in to getting ready for school, then the builders turned up at about 8am to finish the bathroom off.... I dropped Jack off at school (as it was raining), went to Tesco to get a couple of boxes of doughnuts for the nurses and then went to the hospital so that Lisa could go for a shower at her mums. Theo looked great.... The doctor was there when I arrived and she was talking about him having his 2nd lot of immunisation jabs. She said that it would be more like the end of next week before he can come home because he will need to be monitored after his jabs for s few days 😥😥.... Lisa wasn't bothered though as she has her own room with him now and can look after him 24 hours a day 😁😁 The builders called me in the afternoon to tell me that the new bath panel had been delivered, but it had a crack in it!!! FGS..... nothing is ever easy! They will have to come back on Friday now to finish the bath off! I left the hospital at about 3pm to pick Jack up from school and then we went back to the hospital, picking up a chippy dinner on the way. We all ate it in Theo's room and absolutely stank the place out 🙈🙈. Theo was being really cute all day. Jack had loads of cuddles with him..... he really loves his little brother and can't wait until him comes home ❤❤❤

We stayed at the hospital until about 9pm and then Jack and I came back home and chilled..... well Jack chilled, I tidied up after the builders!
