Day 99 - Tuesday 26th September 2017

I woke up late this morning, so I didn't get to see Theo before taking Jack to school at 7:45am Pretty much the same day as yesterday.... loads to do, no time to do it in..... progress is slow, but I'm determined to get the job finished in the next 4 days! I'm now doing most of the work myself! The builders have done a really bad job of everything they've touched!!..... I'm uncovering loads of issues and having to redo a lot of the work! My gardener finished the front of the house today and it looks really good..... it will be the first Lisa and Jack see when they come home, so I wanted it to look really nice ❤❤

Lisa sent me a picture of Theo loving his rocking chair again today.... he's so cute.... She weighed him again in the afternoon and he is now a massive 5lb 10oz..... he's getting so big now ❤❤😁😁 Home is getting so close..... I've told a couple of key nurses and doctors that I am renovating the house as a surprise for Lisa and Jack.... and I've told Lisa that the painter is the slowest painter in the world (sorry mate) and I have to be there to motivate him to get the job done.....if only she knew the house is upside down!! It was Jack's prize giving tonight in Bolton so Lisa and I both went to watch the school show. Jack won a maths scholarship.... a cheque for £250.... clever boy! Takes after his dad with his maths skills 👍👍 We met Leanne there so Lisa left with her just l after Jack's award to get back to Theo, while I stayed and waited for Jack to finish. I nipped round to the house on the way back to the hospital (leaving Jack in the car playing on his phone) to check on progress etc, as I had left my painters and sparky hard at it..... The electrics were now connected to the mains and fully working in the kitchen, the new wall lights and shaver socket had been fitted in the bathroom and the bathroom lights had been changed over to rated ones.... ones that actually fit in the hole!!! I can't believe that the old builders sparky had wired unrated lights (not even earthed) in my bathroom..... especially the ones over the shower?? Jack and I got back at about 11pm and went straight back to RMH.... I didn't see Theo again all day today, but Lisa said he was still doing really well..... I can't believe that he's 100 days old tomorrow! Lisa came back well after midnight again and I was already zonked out!!
