I set off early this morning to pick Jack up from his friends house at 9am. They stayed awake until 3am last night so he was really tired 🙈 he had been invited to my friends football academy (Shooting stars) for their ITV 'Give it a year' recording..... Jack got picked out to be on the telly but looked really tired and fed up, so we'll see if he makes the edit 🙈🙈
After that, we went to another one of my friends football fun days for a couple of hours to support his cause, then to the Trafford centre for lunch (Wagamamas again) and then to the match (Utd vs Everton). Jack fell asleep before the game started and was catching mega flies!! 🙊
I woke him up at the whistle, but the game was pretty boring so he kept nodding off. We were 1-0 up 10 mins from the end and Jack was really rubber necking all over the place trying to stay awake, so I decided to leave the game early..... as we left the stadium we heard the crowd cheer..... 2-0, then, when we got to the car and put the radio on, we'd scored again.... 3-0 and then to top it off, as we drove out of the car park.... penalty 4-0!! Unbelievable 🙈🙈🙈.... It then took us 1 & 1/2 hours to drive the 4 miles back to the hospital because the police had shut a road and I couldn't turn around 🙈🙈
When we got back to the hospital, I took Theo out of his incubator, fed him his 8pm feed and he fell fast asleep on my chest.... Lisa and Jack went back to RMH and I stayed with Theo, who stayed asleep on my chest for about another hour ❤❤❤ I put him back in his incubator at about 9:30pm and he was a little bit unsettled, so I asked the nurse to suction his nose (it was full of mucus). Once she'd finished, I got him back out for another cuddle and a story, which got him straight off to sleep again!
He woke up again at 11pm, so I gave him his milk, gave him a kiss, tucked him back in to his incubator, and then went to bed myself! I've got another stressful week ahead of me trying to get the house ready..... I hope the builders all turn up this week.... I'm getting to the end of my tether!!
