Day 81 - Friday 8th September 2017

I got Jack up today while Lisa went over early to see Theo. Jack was really tired and it was hard work motivating him to get up! We rushed over to see Theo but could only stop for a couple of minutes because Jack was going to be late for school..... I dropped Jack off and went round to meet the builders at the house...... but surprise surprise, they didn't show up! The place looks a right mess..... no builder, no plumber, the homecoming surprise is turning in to a disaster! I decided to crack on with Jack's room regardless and started looking for alternative painters, carpet fitters and a plumber. I picked Jack up after school and we came back to see Theo who was looking a bit pale..... I think he might need another blood transfusion! Jack read him a story about the smartest giant in town.... Theo loves having stories read to him.... he was peaking at Jack through one eye 😁😁 My poor little man had his first lot of injections today (3 of them) and the doctors have said it might make him a bit ill for the next few days because he's still so small! No cuddles tonight 🙁🙁 Hope he's ok, poor little baby ❤❤

I took Jack out for a curry tonight to celebrate me getting the bid off in time.... he got a garlic naan bread that was almost as big as him..... we didn't quite manage the whole thing but I ended up eating loads of it because my curry was really hot 😤😤😤

When we got back to the hospital, I stayed with Theo and read pretty much his whole library to him, while Lisa took Jack back to RMH for an early night. I did all his cares and fed him through his OG tube.... he's doing really well but I definitely think he needs another blood transfusion. See you in the morning little man.... sleep tight ❤❤❤ Thanks for reading, please share this blog with everyone you know to extend it's reach....
