Day 66 - Thursday 24th August 2017

I was up early today for work..... I left Jack with Lisa as I knew it was going to be another long day.... I spoke to Lisa every hour or so and she said that Theo has been a bit poorly today as a result of another eye test that he had in the afternoon..... it showed stage one ROP (Retinopathy of prematurity) in his left eye because he was so premature. The doctors said it was nothing to worry about at this stage and if it gets any worse it could be treatable with lazer treatment, but could cause a squint or him needing glasses if it gets to bad 🙁 Hes still been doing really well with his breathing though and his peep has been put down to 5 👍 Jack got to hold his little brother again.... he really loves holding him.... he's going to be a brilliant big brother when we all get home ❤❤❤❤ At the office, the plasterers finally turned up and sorted the training room wall out.... they made made a right mess though! 🙈🙈 The CCTV guy turned up again at 5pm to install the inside cameras..... I told him I should have put him on job and finish as he spends half the time chatting to me about the good old happy hardcore days in the early 90's 😁😁 Top bloke! I did some of the bid.... not much though.... running out of time and I can't get my head in to gear.... too much going on! When I got back to the hospital at about 10:30pm, Lisa had gone back to RMH with Jack, so I stayed with Theo for a while doing his feeds and cares. When I was doing his cares, I checked his hand and it looked worse than it did yesterday. The doctors said they were keeping an eye on it..... I have hardly seen Theo all day again today, he's doing so well and he's getting really strong.... I'm gutted that I'm missing everything with him because I'm so busy sorting the office, the Bid and the homecoming surprise!! I'm going to need a holiday after this!! But that's not likely 😢😢 I went back over to RMH at about midnight and could see that Lisa is getting really tired again! I need to spend some more time with her and support her more with looking after Theo.... Talk about spinning plates!!
