Day 56 - Monday 14th August 2017 (8 weeks old today)

I was up early again today, not as early as Lisa though..... I don't know how she's managing to get up a 4am everyday to express.... must be a mother's instinct! I went over to the unit at about 7am ready for the shift change and spent a couple of hours with Theo before going to the office with Jack.... It's feels like I've hardly seen Theo this last few days because I have been really busy with the office move, trying to get everything sorted, and also sorting the coming home surprise.... which is also starting to take shape..... However, I'm thinking about going all out and getting a new kitchen and bathroom put in now..... as if I haven't got enough to sort out..... but I really want it to be a fresh start when Lisa and the boys get home.... we are all going through hell at the minute and I'm sure coming home to a brand new home will be a really nice surprise for Lisa and Jack 😁 I was calling Lisa every couple of hours to check up on Theo. She said that he was still doing great on his BiPAP and that he was also having great gases all day..... he is making real good progress, I'm so proud of him... and Lisa for constantly being there with him to make sure he's ok ❤❤ I can't believe he is 8 weeks old today though, it doesn't seem that long..... I think the days are just blending in to one though 🙈..... he's such a big boy now.... 1.602kg (just over 3lb 8oz).... only another 98g and he will have doubled his birth weight of 850g 😁 😁 I had a mad busy day today running backwards and forwards between the two offices and the house..... I left Jack busy playing on a playstation in my office every time I went home so that he didn't see what was going on there. I ripped the carpet out of the dogs bedroom at home today as I was turning that room in to Theo's nursery..... they're not going to be happy when they come home..... they will be sleeping downstairs in the hall way 🙈

We got back to the hospital really late tonight and I was really tired and smelly, so we quickly ran over to the unit to spend half an hour with Theo and Lisa before going back to RMH at about 10pm..... I had a quick bite to eat because I was starving..... I don't remember eating anything today? I think I just sorted Jack out! When we got back to the room I had a shower, sat on the bed in my towel and fell straight to sleep 😴😴😴 Lisa woke me up when she got in at about midnight...... I was freezing 🙈🙈 Talk about burning the midnight oil..... and I've not even touched the bid today 🙈🙈 Thanks for reading, please share this blog with everyone you know to extend it's reach....
